Plampul is a creative studio companion built for ceramic artists to plan glaze coverage before firing your pieces. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our app, and outlines your rights over your creative content.

We recognize that all ceramic designs and work you create are your valuable intellectual property, and protecting your privacy is our core priority when building and running Plampul.

Information We Collect

We only collect information that is necessary to provide you with the core Plampul experience you expect:

• User-Provided Creative Content
  When you use Plampul, you can import photos of your ceramic work from your device camera, photo library, or save in-progress pieces directly in the app. This includes all work photos, custom grid settings, saved glaze path mazes, personal gallery organization, and achievement progress you create. By default, all of this content is stored locally on your device. If you opt into cross-device cloud backup, this content will be stored on our encrypted cloud servers.
• Non-Identifiable Usage Data
  We automatically collect anonymous usage data to help us improve Plampul for the ceramic community. This includes information like which features you use most (grid customization, path tracing, gallery search, etc.), app crash reports, and general device performance metrics. This data never includes your actual creative content, and cannot be linked back to you personally.
• Basic Device Information
  We collect general device information (such as device model, operating system version) to ensure Plampul works correctly across different devices and to fix compatibility issues.

How We Use Your Information

We only use your information for purposes directly related to your use of Plampul:

• To deliver core app functionality: let you overlay grids, trace glaze paths, save your design mazes, organize your personal gallery, and track your creative milestones via achievements
• To enable optional cloud backup and syncing of your ceramic work collection across your personal devices
• To improve Plampul: refine our warm kiln-inspired interface, add features that ceramic artists actually need, fix bugs that disrupt your glaze planning workflow, and optimize performance
• To protect the security and integrity of our service, prevent abuse, and address any technical issues

How We Share Your Information

We will never sell your personal creative content or any of your personal information to third parties for any purpose. All original ceramic designs you create in Plampul remain entirely yours.

We only share your information in the following limited circumstances:

• With trusted service providers who help us run Plampul (such as cloud storage providers, analytics partners), who are only allowed to use your information to deliver services to us, and are bound by strict privacy agreements
• If required to comply with a legal obligation, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or the rights, property, or safety of our users or others
• With your explicit consent, if you choose to share your glaze planning designs with other parties through Plampul

Your Control Over Your Data

As a ceramic artist, you retain full control over all your content and data in Plampul:

• You can delete any individual work photo, saved glaze path, or entire collection from Plampul at any time
• You can export your full personal gallery and all saved design mazes at any time
• You can opt out of non-essential usage data collection and turn off cloud backup at any time from the app settings menu
• You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any of your personal data we hold at any time

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption for data in transit and at rest, to protect your creative content and personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. While no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, we work continuously to update and improve our security practices to keep your data safe.

Children's Privacy

Plampul is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will take immediate steps to delete that information.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes through the app before the new policy takes effect.
